Child safety standards
Char Log (the app "Char Log: Gym & Diet Tracker" on Google Play, package app.charlog.char_log) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page says what we do about it and how to reach us.
Who can share. Everything other people can see in Char Log (circles, posts, comments, usernames, profile pictures) is for people 18 and over. Logging on your own phone is open from 13, but under-18s can't join circles or post.
What's banned. Any sexual content involving a minor, any content that sexualises children, grooming, sextortion, and asking anyone for sexual images. Sexual content of any kind is banned in Char Log.
How to report in the app. Tap ⋯ on the post, comment or profile, then Report. Choose "Nudity or sexual content", "Seems too young for circles" or "A photo or info of me": these hide the item from everyone straight away, before we look at it. The person isn't told who reported them.
What we do. We remove the content, close the account, keep the removed copy locked away only as the law requires, and report it to the police through India's National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), as POCSO section 20 requires, and to other authorities where the law asks. We never forward, download or share suspected material ourselves.
Child safety contact: Satvik Jain, grievance officer. Email charlogdev@gmail.com. We acknowledge within 24 hours.
If a child is in danger right now, call 112 (emergency) or 1098 (Childline). You can also report directly at cybercrime.gov.in.
